The objective of this internship was the improvement of thermal and mechanical modelling of complex guidance and navigation systems. During the internship, thermal studies were conducted as well as a model reduction method using the super-elements method.
Feburary 2020 - July 2021
The mission of the internship was the analysis of test data to derive a thermal criterion on the power limit of the engines. The second objective was to create creep and seizure limit criteria by analyzing test and simulation data for intermittent regimes.
August 2019 - February 2020
Safran is a major French industrial and technology group with an international presence in the aerospace and defense sectors.
The objective of this internship was the improvement of thermal and mechanical modelling of complex guidance and navigation systems. First, a thermal study was conducted on navigation systems to determine and improve the accuracy of thermal coefficients. Secondly, the mission aimed at implementing a method allowing model reduction thanks to the super-elements method. The objective was to reduce the calculation time of mechanical simulations and to reduce the size of the result files.
During my internship I was able to perform the following tasks:
This internship allowed Safran Electronics & Defense to obtain a robust methodology for the use of super-elements as well as more precise values for the thermal coefficients of navigation units.
Feburary 2021 - July 2021
Poclain Hudraulics is a French company manufacturing hydraulic motors with radial pistons. It has been one of the most important French firms manufacturing public works equipment.
The internship consisted of an improvement of a thermal modeling code and a thermal study of the operation of the hydraulic motor in intermittent regime in order to improve its performance. The mission was to analyze the test data and to derive a thermal criterion on the power limit of the engines. Then the mission consisted in creating a power test in intermittent regime to analyze the impact of this engine speed on the hydraulic engines. Finally, the objective was to identify the limit criteria of creep and seizure through the analysis of tests and simulations.
During my internship I was able to perform the following tasks:
his internship allowed Poclain Hydraulics to redefine, in a more precise way, the power limit of each motor sold by the company. I also brought a new definition of intermittent powers with the definition of a test program. Finally, I redefined a creep criterion allowing to widen the sales possibilities of the motors according to the intended use.
August 2019 - February 2020
This position is key in this type of event to ensure coordination between field personnel and competition officials guidelines. My role was to be in charge of receiving and dispatching emergency calls, coordinating on-site responders (security, paramedics, logistics, etc.) and writing event reports during the competition.

Many festivals are held in Montreál in the summer, and I've worked as a waiter/bartender for Osheaga (60K people per day) and Ile Soniq festivals, as well as Montreal soccer matches. This role also requires me to manage stocks to ensure permanent availability of products.
Juillet 2022 & Juillet 2023
The objective of this project was to build a race car to participate in an international competition. 5 teams were working simultaneously to achieve this goal. I was responsible for one of the teams composed of 5 to 10 people.
September 2019 - July 2021
This project consisted in carrying out numerical simulations in order to analyze the constraints to which a rocket can be subjected. The objective was to analyze the rocket with numerical fluid mechanics from an aerodynamic and fluid-temperature coupling point of view.
November 2020 - January 2021
Formul'UT is an association of the University of Technology of Compiègne whose goal is to design a complete FSAE race car in order to participate in an international competition: Formula Student. As the head of the aerodynamic team of the association I had to supervise the design and the optimization of the aerodynamics of the car.
My team and I modeled the body and the aerodynamic elements under the CAD software, Catia, thanks to a surface model related to the skeleton of the car: the car's frame. The objective was to model a simple shape in order to present it to our future partnerships and to have a working base.
I then carried out simulations on the aerodynamic elements of the car with the software STAR CCM+. The simulations were first carried out on profiles with different types of chord length and inclination in order to better understand the influence of these configurations on drag and lift aerodynamic coefficient. The following simulations were carried out on a full front/rear aileron and then on the complete car.
In parallel I created a model simulating the dynamics of the car under Matlab. The dynamic and aerodynamic forces were taken into account, as well as a model of Pacejka for the tire model.
The competition could not take place due to the health crisis. All the aerodynamic simulations have been done and the objective is to have a complete and competitive car for the year 2022.
September 2019 - July 2021
This project proposed by a teacher from UTC aims to develop a rocket that can reach an altitude of 20 km, to match the previous record of the TU Delft in the Netherlands, which has already managed to create such a rocket and propel it at this altitude.
The purpose of this project is the realization of the hybrid engine of the rocket, as well as the launching of a reduced version of this engine with 1 kN of thrust and its associated test bench.
During this project my objective is to carry out numerical simulations on the STAR CCM+ software in order to study the supersonic phase of the rocket ascent. It is thus necessary to implement all possible resources related to a CFD calculation in order to produce a scientific document.
We carried out an aerodynamic study taking into account the variations in speed, air density and rocket mass. We could thus determine the trajectory of the rocket in any point of space as a function of time as well as the aerodynamic coefficients of the rocket.
We also carried out a study with a Fluid-Temperature coupling, which had for objective to know the maximum temperature on the fuselage.
Novembre 2020 - Janvier 2021
The idea of creating a Portoflio type website was to trace and list all my professional experiences and projects during my engineering studies and my engineering career. I was also able to improve my skills in website creation.
Since 2020
My team had the task to design a mechanical system of ejection of the nose cone of a subsonic rocket in order to deploy a parachute to recover the rocket sent to 3km of the ground. This rocket was launched during an international competition: the C'Space.
September 2018 - September 2019
The first idea of the creation of a Portoflio type website was to trace and list all my professional experiences and projects during my engineering studies and my engineering career. This portfolio aims to be more exhaustive than a resume but also more detailed than a Linkedin profile.
I created this site from scratch through HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding. I also used the bootstrap module to create this portfolio in an organized and ergonomic way.
Having no specialized computer training, I trained myself in a self-taught way at first and then thanks to some courses followed within the UTC. My previous project of creating the Nepal Run website also allowed me to work more easily and efficiently on this project.
I try to update my portfolio regularly according to the new projects and experiences that occur during my career in order to have an updated trace over the years.
Since 2020
UTspaCe is an association of the University of Technology of Compiègne which aims to design a complete subsonic rocket, named Prométhée, to participate in an international competition: C'Space. I took part in the development of the rocket's cap and I was co-treasurer of the association.
The objective of the rocket cap was to deploy a parachute at the apex of the rocket ascent in order to recover the intact rocket on the ground. The chosen system was a system with engine, several springs in compression and rods in traction. Thus I had to dimension the elements of the system, in particular the engine torque and the return force of each spring.
After dimensioning and modeling under Catia, we proceeded to the design of the complete system in particular thanks to 3D printer elements produced at UTC labotary. We tested the system then we integrated it into the rocket in order to prove its efficiency.
Unfortunately, the rocket could not be launched due to lack of time to finalize the electronics of the rocket.
September 2018 - September 2019
I carried out an aero project among a group of 3 on the realization of a functional model of the cockpit and control of the Latécoère 28. This project was realized in connection with the Cercle des Machines Volantes of Margy-lès-Compiègne.
February 2019 - July 2019
I carried out a scientific project during my years in Preparatory Class: Work of Personal Initiative Framed. Being a fireman at that time, I decided to carry out mechanical analysis on the air cylinders used by the firemen
September 2017 - July 2018
I carried out an aeronautical project among a group of 3 on the realization of a functional model of the cockpit of the Latécoère 28. This project was linked to the French association, Cercle des Machines Volantes, in Margny-lès-Compiègne and the plans provided were confidential.
The objective of this project was to :
We performed more than 60 modelings under Catia and assembled the different modeling elements to create the cockpit. This required a great analysis of the original plans which were mostly from 1930. We used the GitHub tool which greatly facilitated the exchange of our models.
Unfortunately, we could not realize the functional 1/4 scale model due to lack of time. Nevertheless, we have left all the traces of our work for future students wanting to take over the project.
February 2019 - July 2019
During my years in preparation program for competitive exams for admission to Engineering schools, I had to carry out a scientific project. Being a firefighter at that time, I decided to work on the air cylinders used by firefighters called ARI (Insulated Breathing Apparatus).
This cylinder must meet the requirements related to the constraints of the fires but also limit the wearer's constraints. The cylinder interacts with the external environment and is subject to pressure and thermal stresses from this external environment. This can lead to inhomogeneity within the cylinder envelope for example.
First of all, I studied the resistance of the current material in differents ways :
I then compared the different results. Then I searched for a material that meets the constraints and allows to reduce the weight of the bottle by a modeling study and to compare these results with the material currently used.
September 2017 - July 2018
Within the association Toit Pour Le Nepal, I organized a charity race in favor of this association to raise funds. I was in charge of the creation of the race website and the administrative part.
June 2019
Toit Pour Le Népal is a charity association that aims to fight against illiteracy and to participate in the democratization of schools in Nepal. I was the president of the association for 6 months and I was in charge of a charity run in favor of this association in order to raise funds. I created from scratch the race, Népal Run, in Compiègne.
I took care of the administrative part of the race, in particular the authorizations with the town and the National Forest Office. I had to manage the grant applications with the help of my treasurer.
I took care in parallel of the logistics part of the race. Indeed I created the race site with HTML/CSS and JavaScript. The payment platform was nevertheless hosted by a UTC site dedicated to that. I also had to create the race flyers and find the course in the forest of Compiègne. I thus created 2 courses gathering 3 races:
This race was a success as it gathered nearly 100 runners and walkers and raised more than 600€ for the projects we support in Nepal.
